Why did you choose the University of Pittsburgh?

I chose Pitt PMI because of their cancer virology program. I knew I will be well-supported by brilliant scientists here. I also came from a flavivirus lab in Rockefeller University that had a lot of professional AND personal ties to Pitt's virology labs. Needless to say, I knew that I could flourish in this academic environment both as a scientist and as a person!
