Why did you choose the University of Pittsburgh?

I chose the University of Pittsburgh due to its robust interdiscplinary research, state-of-the-art facilities, and strong sense of community. I very much enjoyed speaking with students and faculty members during my visit to Pitt. It felt like a genuinely collaborative atmosphere and one where everyone is invested and committed to making you the best scientist possible. Additionally, I valued all the graduate student resources and opportunities for professional development.
