Abigail E. Overacre-Delgoffe, PhD

  • Assistant Professor, Department of Immunology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine

Why did you choose the University of Pittsburgh?

I transferred here after my 2nd year of graduate school because my mentor moved his lab from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to here.

Following her graduation, Dr. Overacre-Delgoffe began working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Tim Hand at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Doctoral Dissertation

Intrinsic and extrinsic drivers of Treg fragility in the tumor microenvironment

Education & Training

  • PhD in Microbiology and Immunology, University of Pittsburgh, 2018
  • BS in Chemistry and Biochemistry (Cum Laude), University of Oklahoma, 2012

Research Interests

Tumor immunology; Metastasis; Microbiome
