Why did you choose the University of Pittsburgh?

I chose the University of Pittsburgh because it harbors top-notch biomedical research, ranging from basic to clinical research, and it is constantly evolving to maintain ground breaking science in a collaborative environment. The PMI is home to a wide range of expert and well funded immunologists willing to train you to become an independent researcher. I found faculty performing high-level science in my areas of interest with a high degree of collegiality and collaborative spirit to advace basic and translational research while training us to become successful scientists.
